I just wanted to let everyone know that I will not be able to attend Dana and Tad's wedding next month. My parents are celebrating their 68th wedding anniversary on June 26 and the occasion has morphed into something of a family reunion.
I do hope all of you have a wonderful time in Nashville and I extend to Dana and Tad my very best wishes.

Our Cover Boy!
Everett was chosen as the "cover boy" for our city's summer Parks & Recreation catalog. You can also see Brayden right behind him. This picture was taken at his cousin's birthday party last August. It's been fun getting phone calls from people asking "Is that Everett??"

BIG WINNER!!!
Dad and I were at Keeneland Racetrack in Lexington for TheOaks (Friday) and Derby (Saturday). After watching jockey Calvin Borel win several races (including The Oaks) Friday, and more races Saturday prior tothe Derby, Dad thought it wise to play Borel's "Mine That Bird" with his favorite, "Pioneer of the Nile", and the rest is history! ~Dori
