Leslie Rankin Highlighted!

What is your Occupation? To-go girl at Chili's and aspiring entrepreneur.
Favorite Color? Green
Favorite Food? Anything that Dad, Jeff, or my Grandma cooks. I am a very lucky girl to have three great cooks that don't mind cooking for me.
Hobbies? I love music and movies. I've recently started cooking more because I got great new pots and pans for Christmas. I also like watching OU football. I am also very blessed to have great friends and family, so hanging out with them is always fun. Playing with my adorable little brothers is fun too.

Favorite Books/Movies/Television Shows? I like Chuck Palahniuk books, the guy who wrote fight club, he does a great job of making you think about things you wouldn't normally think about. My favorite movie of all time is The Princess Bride, but I love watching indie movies and low budget scary movies. And as far as TV goes you can never go wrong with America's Funniest Home Video's. I also like The Shield, Intervention, and Jon and Kate plus Eight. I'm a sucker for Roseanne too.
Pet Peeve(s)? I hate when people don't use common sense, smack their popcorn in the theater, don't use their blinker, and hypochondriacs.
Best Vacation you have ever had? I had the privilege of going to Italy and Jamaica last year, and I'm about to embark on a trip to Alaska with my grandparents this 4th of July. So I'll let you know when I get back... Favorite Holmer family memory? Well, I've only met all of you once in South Carolina so I guess by default it would be that vacation. But more specifically it would be fishing with the boys in the back waters and all of us catching the same fish at some point in the trip. The fish broke my line and was swimming around with the hook AND the bopper attached, which was actually very helpful because then we knew where the school was at all times. We eventually got it in after everyone had a go at it... Are you a morning person or a night person? I am definitely a night person. Sleep all day, play all night.
What is the craziest thing you have ever done? I did some pretty dumb things with my best friend in high school but luckily we never got hurt...or caught. I'll just keep those to myself. I guess skydiving is pretty crazy, but I’m not sure if it counts because Dad was right there with me all three times....Julie one of those times.
You’re about to sing at a karaoke bar … what song did you choose? That would for sure be the Devil Went Down to Georgia....Dad learnded me good.
A talent you wish you had or something you wish you knew how to do better? I wish I could sing really well. I would love to be one of those white girls that could belt it out like Aretha Franklin or Etta James.

We are sad that Leslie won't be joining us in Asheville, but look forward to hear her fishing stories when she returns from Alaska.
