Greetings from Pam

Just wanted to let you all know what is going on here in Sarasota. I actually negotiated the sale of our home in Langhorne during the family reunion in July. I closed on that sale the end of August and moved into my condo here the first week in Sept. Since then, I've been trying to get my place furnished but have spent most of the time spinning my wheels! Much of my furniture has arrived damaged thus extending the time frame until completion. As of now, my bedroom is almost completed. However, the living room and dining room are only partially furnished and the den/guest room is just a repository of unpacked boxes. I'm shooting for Easter as a final completion date!

Of course, the last several months have been made vastly more difficult by the absence of my dearest companion, Ron. The pain of his loss is not as sharp but the agony of the longing to be with him is undiminished and I'm still quite emotional. Dawn visited me last weekend for a few days and I drive up to Clearwater to visit my parents every few weeks. I am also starting to make more social contacts and the cultural season has begun here so that I have performances to attend. The Wurlitzers will be returning in early Dec. and I look forward to that. At least, I have pleasant distractions from the loneliness. I will be spending the holidays with my family and I'm hoping that I'll see Steve, Beth, The Twins, Kathy and Chris at some point around Christmas/New Years.

I do wish all of you a lovely Thanksgiving and Holiday Season.

Love,
Pam
